A Psalm.

It’s funny how I thought that psalms were only written by David…what a child I was…and that no one, no person, could write Psalms.

Psalms are not just songs or literature to be kept in frames, recited, used during prayers.

They’re for worship. Irrespective of whatever sad writings David, Asaph, Solomon e.t.c had , there was always a line of praise in their art of worship.

How do you worship?

Here’s a Psalm, be blessed 🥰

Truly, Lord, I would love you to dwell in my heart.
For with love comes pain,
With Lust, troubles,
Good or bad, there’s pain
Because this world is not our home.
But God, I plead,
Help us through this pain.
Help us grow through it.
God, I pray for strength.
For when I lift my voice,
I am quietened,
When I praise, I am shut up.
Lord, Give me power and will to not be silent.
I want to sing.
I want to praise.
I want to pray.
I want to worship.
Strength, I plead Lord.
It takes effort, chastening to grow.
O Lord! I plead.
Help me, Father.

The army.

This generation is an army.

In an army lies doctors, lawyers, warriors for the battlefield, tailors, generals, commanders, artisans, engineers and so on.
Every army official goes through the recruitment process. Whether an artisan or a doctor, you go through the same training before specialising.

Similarly, Every Christian goes through the recruitment process (salvation) and later gets enlisted as a Christian. During this salvation process, confession and belief are necessary. Hurdles in this process are temptation, trials, and tribulations. After recruitment comes specialization, you can either decide to remain in that rank or rise or specialize. Not everyone is a pastor, reverend, bishop, deacon.

The doctors are the healers. They cast out illnesses and troubles, even sorrow. The lawyers are the intercessors. They pray for the brethren day and night. They are led to intercede for individuals and the church. The warriors are ever ready for war as their tongues are that of fire filled with the power of prayer and the Word. Tailors and artisans are the shepherds who use their God – given skills to make others look better in appearance. The engineers are the angels, according to the instructions of the Holy Ghost, who minister and build more equipment and supplies to be given to generals and commanders to aid the war.

Our weapons of warfare are not carnal (but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds)- 2 Corinthians 10:4.

Our armor, after being helped by the artisans (we rise by lifting others up), consists of loins girt with truth; a breastplate of righteousness; a feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace and taking the shield of faith ( and a good conscience) to quench all darts of the wicked; the helmet of salvation; the sword of the Spirit, that is, Word of God (Eph 6:18).

Brethren, Rejoice evermore
Pray without ceasing.
Give thanks.
Quench not the Spirit.
Despise not prophecies.
Prove all things; Hold fast that which is good.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
And the Very God of Peace will keep us all (1 Thessalonians 5:16-23).

Ps: It’s not a story, kinda though.

The Love of God.
Yes, the end of the world is near.
But as a generation that seeks His face, what are we doing?

Our coming together as a group might not be feasible but if we gather in Spirit, No one or thing can stop us. I advice that we all take “these times and days” seriously as Paul once said.

Many will rise with a strong force (as yeast in batter) all to deceive Children of God. The bad part is that those deceived won’t even be aware that they are and that they most definitely will be lukewarm. “So then because thou art lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will spue thee out of my mouth” – so says the LORD (Rev 3:15). I am sure the Spirit is testifying that there needs to be an awakening in our souls (including I). There needs to be a rejuvenation.

In martial artistry, Cultivation is the devotion of time or attention to the improvement of something. It is the advancement or refinement in physical, intellectual or moral condition. Cultivation involves meditation, recital, understanding and mastery of skills.
Our bodies (gifts and talents) and souls (fruits) need to undergo cultivation for the manifestation of the things in brackets to take place.
For those with gifts,

“Do not neglect your gift which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.”- 1Tim 4:14.

Remember, they are gifts and not FRUITS, you’d have to bear those ones. Cultivate your life that you may bear them. Build.

God is merciful. He wants you. He needs you to turn to Him (nevertheless, He doesn’t need you to be Himself, God). He loves you immensely. I tell you, words cannot describe, and he doesn’t want you to bleed or pay with your blood. Rather, He wants you to be saved, healed, loved, protected and to dwell in His Holy mountain, the place He dwells in. (Psalm 43:3).

As regards academics and other spheres of life, I’d love to remind you that we have different phases in Life and it’s very funny to know that they’re all meaningless, except, drumroll, God is involved.
May God see us through all that concerns us . Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
